Terms of Use

Tos Kafe is a coffee shop discovery app for Cambodia. Reviews in the app are written by real people, and other people read them. These are the rules.
The short version: write about your own real experience, be respectful, don't post anything offensive, and remember that you are responsible for what you post. We remove content that breaks these rules, and we remove the accounts that post it.

Accepting these terms
You can browse coffee shops in Tos Kafe without an account. To write reviews, save favourites or claim a shop, you need an account, and when you first use it you'll be asked to accept these terms. You cannot post a review until you have accepted them. If we change these terms in an important way, you'll be asked to accept them again.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to have an account.
- Use your own name or a display name that doesn't pretend to be someone else.
- Keep your login details to yourself. Everything done from your account is your responsibility.
- One person, one account.
What you can post
You can write reviews of coffee shops and add a profile photo. When you post something in Tos Kafe, other people can see it. You keep ownership of what you write, and you give us permission to show it in the app and in connection with Tos Kafe.
You are responsible for what you post. Post only about your own real experience at the shop, and only content you have the right to share.
What is not allowed
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive users. Objectionable content means anything that is:
- Offensive or abusive — hateful, insulting, threatening or harassing language; content that attacks someone for their race, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any similar characteristic; sexual content; content that glorifies violence.
- Spam or advertising — promotions, repeated posts, links to other services, or anything that isn't a real review.
- Not about the shop — off-topic content, personal disputes, or reviews of something other than the coffee shop itself.
- Misleading or fake — reviews of a shop you own or work at, reviews written in exchange for money or free items, reviews of a shop you never visited, or attacks on a competitor.
- Someone's private information — phone numbers, addresses, or other personal details about staff, owners or other users.
- Illegal — anything that breaks Cambodian law or the laws that apply to you.
Also not allowed: harassing other users or shop owners, pretending to be someone else, creating multiple accounts, or trying to interfere with how the app or its data works.
How we enforce this
- Automatic filter. Reviews are checked for blocked words when you submit them. A review containing a blocked term is not posted, and you're told so.
- Reporting. Any signed-in user can report any review. Shop owners can flag reviews of their own shop. Reports are reviewed by a person, normally within 24 hours.
- Removal. Content that breaks these terms is removed. Accounts that post it are removed, without warning. This is not negotiable.
- Blocking. You can block another user so that you no longer see their reviews. Blocking is your personal filter; it doesn't change what other people see.
Reports are handled by a person, not automatically, and a reported review stays visible until it has been looked at. Reporting a review does not by itself remove it.
Shop owners
- You may only claim a shop that you own or are authorised to manage. A false claim is a breach of these terms and is grounds for removing your account.
- Keep your shop's information accurate — name, address, opening hours, prices and photos.
- Don't write reviews of your own shop and don't ask staff, friends or customers to write reviews in exchange for anything.
- We can reject or withdraw a claim, and we can hide a shop listing, if these terms are broken or if the information is wrong.
- A shop listing is public business information. If you delete your account, the listing stays in the app but is no longer linked to you.
Reviews after you leave
If you delete your account, your reviews stay in the app but are made anonymous — they show as written by "Deleted user". This keeps shop ratings honest. Details are in the Privacy Policy and on the account deletion page.
The app and its content
Tos Kafe, its name, design and software belong to us. Shop information is entered by shop owners, by us, or comes from public sources, and it may be out of date or wrong — opening hours change, prices change, shops close. Check before you travel. Reviews are other people's opinions, not ours. We are not responsible for what happens at a shop, for a shop's products or service, or for any agreement between you and a shop.
The app is provided as it is. We work to keep it available and correct, but we can't promise it will always be, and we may change or stop features at any time.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of Tos Kafe, from content posted by other users, or from your dealings with any coffee shop. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time — see the account deletion page. We can suspend or remove your account if you break these terms, and we can remove any content that breaks them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change is important, you'll be asked to accept the new terms the next time you open the app.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
